The Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) separators used in the YTX H Series batteries absorb the electrolyte, making the battery non-spillable. The valve-regulated design of these batteries also eliminates the need for water refilling, as it prevents water loss. These batteries are shipped in a "Bottle Supplied" (BS) configuration, where the electrolyte is stored in a separate plastic container, and the end-user fills the battery with the electrolyte when it's ready to be activated.
